For the keiki…
Filed Under Fun Stuff, Spread the Aloha |
In perusing the internet for something fun for the keiki (kids), I came across Doublebrush.com. Full of all kinds of cool homemade candles and body products with island flair, this website has all kinds of great gifts for the holidays or to pamper yourself.
One thing that caught my eye were the Keiki Finger Puppet Postcards of Hawaiian Endangered Species. I got one of each and was excited to see detail of each animal which was hand drawn by one of the owners, Cheryl. The color drawings are on the front with little dotted lines for the parents to cut out the holes where the child’s fingers go. On the back is a bit of information about that animal like its Hawaiian name, where it lives and what it eats. These postcards can be purchased ahead of a trip and sent as a souvenir to a special child in your life or just as a fun thing to buy your child and sneak some education in at the same time! They cost either $1.25 each or you can get the set of four for $4.95. Each card is packaged in a protective plastic sleeve bag and comes with directions. Head on over to Doublebrush.com and pick up these adorable postcard finger puppets for your keiki!

Mahalo for featuring our postcards on your post, we really appreciate it. I came up with the idea because I didn’t see any postcards for children at the time. I also love animals and Hawaii:)
