Back from vacation! Here’s the questions for this week’s Four Foods on Friday. If you want to play along, there’s still time! Just go to Val’s Place and play along!
#1. Share a recipe for something Italian.
Here’s a recipe for Italian Rum Cake.
#2. Jam, jelly, preserves, marmalade, fruit butter or butter. What’s on your toast or bread?
Apple jelly and butter please! Yum!
#3. What’s your favorite Kellogg’s product?
I love their Raisin Bran.
#4. Do you like liver? What about liverwurst.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oops, I mean no. LOL As my husband says “I don’t eat any meat designed to filter out the toxins in an animals body!”

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
The Italian rum cake sounds delish!
Oooh, that cake recipe sounds so good. Definitely gonna have to try this one.
I bet that cake is delicious!
That cake sounds amazing!
The rum cake does look good. And it looks fairly easy to make. Thanks for stopping by mine.
LOL I love your husbands definition of liver and I’m going to have to use that one day if I remember it. I remember this one rum cake my old boss made and rum was just seeping out of it. Those are the best. Gonna have to try this one because she never did give me that recipe lol
After reading your husband’s comment, I’m so glad I haven’t eaten liver in ages.
Your cake recipe sounds delicious! I don’t think I’ve seen “dark and sweet pudding,” though. Is that easy to find?
I love a moist cake like your recipe sounds like it would be. Yummy.
I love raisin bran, why didn’t I think of that before?
I’m with your husband. Something’s just not right about eating that organ. ha.
You know, Safeway suddenly stopped carrying their mixed fruit jelly — the best I’ve ever tried. But, people keep talking about apple jelly. I guess I should be fair and at least try it. I have co-workers who love to make rum cake; I think I’ll share your recipe with them.
Apple jelly, yum!
I’ve always thought apple jelly didn’t have much taste, but I always have apple butter on hand. The cake sounds delish!
