Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort to foreclose
For those of you who may have reservations at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort on the Big Island after July 31st, you may want to contact the hotel or consider changing to another hotel. It is being auctioned off on July 31st after the owner defaulted on the mortgage. While some think the hotel likely wouldn’t close and they are “expected” to continue business as usual, you should decide if you are personally comfortable with that.
You can contact them for further information.

Sheraton expects to continue to manage Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa as usual.
The possible auction and sale of the hotel is not expected to affect the management of the resort, our guests or our employees.
We look forward to continuing to welcome guests as they visit the island of Hawaii.
Sheraton has managed the hotel since 2005 and looks forward to working with the new owner.
