Akaka Falls lookout closed temporarily

If you’re going to Akaka Falls on the Big Island, the walkway will be temporarily closed until March 12th so that a safety rail can be installed.  Kahuna Falls lookout is still open and you can take that lookout to Akaka Falls.  Call it the ‘scenic route.’
