E Komo Mai!  Welcome to True Aloha!  I am Ohio born, Hawaii embraced.  I love Hawaii and love to share my experiences and knowledge about the islands and culture of aloha that Hawaii offers locals and visitors alike. If you share in this philosophy then I hope you’ll become a part of the True Aloha community and share in the love of the aina as well as share your aloha with others.  My name is Anele (Angie) and my handle Pele1 is in respect and honor of the Volcano Goddess Pele.  I am a Hawaii and Maui Destination Specialist through the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and have been going to Hawaii for over 12 years.  My husband and I have land on the Big Island which we plan to build on and I’ve made many local friends and been embraced by them in a way that makes me feel like ohana.  I love perpetuating the aloha spirit I’ve been shown.
